The highly experienced technical and financial team, has overseen 60+ mine builds and over US$200bn of mining sector transactions, and works in a close and collaborative manner with management teams to deliver optimal results

Christopher is a member of Appian’s financial and corporate development team. He is based in London and focuses on investment evaluation, transaction execution and portfolio management.

Prior to joining Appian, Christopher worked for Rio Tinto where he supported structured financing and corporate development mandates in both South America and Africa. Before that, he worked at Macquarie Capital in their Energy and Metals group with a focus on structured and mezzanine financing in the energy sector.

Christopher holds a M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Aberdeen, as well as a B.A. in Economics from the University of Alberta.
