PERCY CONDORI
Director, Processing & Metallurgy
DESCRIPTION
Percy Condori is Director of Processing and Metallurgy at Appian, based in London. He is a mineral processing engineer with broad experience in the processing of base metal commodities including copper, lead/zinc, gold, iron, bauxite and mineral sands. His expertise includes modelling, simulation and optimization of grinding and flotation circuits.
Past roles have included: technical management, plant operation, process reviews, plant troubleshooting, process development, plant design, order of magnitude and prefeasibility studies, project generation and project management.
Percy previously worked as a Senior Advisor at Rio Tinto T&I, based in Melbourne, Australia; as a Technical Superintendent at Glencore Copper and El Brocal, both in Peru. More recently, prior to joining Appian, he was Metallurgy Manager at Batu Hijau, a large copper and gold operation in Indonesia.
Percy is a graduate of San Agustin University in Peru. He obtained a Masters Degree at the Federico Santa Maria Technical University in Chile and is a PhD candidate at the University of Cape Town in South Africa.
