Darren is a Senior Geologist for Appian Capital Advisory.  Darren is based in the London office and is responsible for technical due diligence and working with portfolio companies on mine geology, grade control, reconciliation, and exploration.

Darren brings 12 years of mining experience, and worked across North America in roles of increasing responsibility – including Chief Geologist and Operational Superintendent. He has worked in both open pit and underground environments in precious and base metals. This balanced knowledge and skill set provides technical expertise, while focusing on practical applications that are best for the business.

Darren holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Queen’s University in Canada and a Master in Financial Management from Boston University.
