DESCRIPTION
Winta is Appian’s General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. He is based in London, and is responsible for overseeing legal matters, as well as assisting with deal structuring and execution.
Prior to joining Appian, Winta was a partner in the corporate, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital groups of an international law firm based in London, where he advised private equity firms, funds, investment banks and corporations across a range of industry sectors, including financial services and natural resources.
Before 2011, Winta was legal counsel at Goldman Sachs International where he advised key principal investment areas and private equity groups. Prior to that, Winta worked at law firms Debevoise & Plimpton and Slaughter and May in London.
Winta holds a MA in Modern Languages from the University of Oxford where he was an Exhibitioner Scholar. He is admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales.
Winta is also the Chairman of the Investment Advisor, Appian Capital Advisory Ltd.
