Mauricio is an Investment Associate at Appian based in Peru, responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, conducting transaction due diligence, executing investment deals, and overseeing portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Appian, Mauricio worked as a Portfolio Manager Associate at Breca Group, one of Peru’s leading economics groups, overseeing the mining portfolio. Before that, Mauricio was a Corporate Finance Associate at Hochschild Mining Plc, based in Peru.

Mauricio began his career at Credicorp, Peru’s largest financial services corporation, working as an analyst in various roles including corporate strategy, M&A, management consulting and corporate venture capital.

Mauricio holds a Bsc. in Mathematics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.
