Mathias J. Iranzo Conde is Chief Operating Officer of Appian Capital Advisory. He oversees the firm’s global non-investment operations.

Prior to joining Appian, Mathias held senior legal and executive positions at Investcorp, the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) and SABIC, following his legal career at Debevoise & Plimpton in New York, Paris and Hong Kong, where he advised sponsors, sovereign investors and multinational corporations on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity, capital markets and strategic transactions.

Mathias holds degrees from Sciences Po Paris, Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a J.D. from Cornell Law School.
