DESCRIPTION
Alyssa is Appian’s Head of Legal, Global M&A. She leads the legal aspects of all mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and other strategic transactions. Alyssa also spends time on internal legal matters, oversee portfolio companies and work with the team to drive value throughout the portfolio.
Alyssa joined Appian from a middle market private investment firm based in New York. She began her career working at Skadden Arps in New York, working in the debt finance and capital markets groups, followed by Kirkland & Ellis also in New York, focused on mergers & acquisitions.
Alyssa graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science and from the University of Michigan Law school with a Juris Doctorate.
