ERIC GARCELON
Geologist
DESCRIPTION
Eric is a Geologist for Appian Capital Advisory. He brings over eight years of mining industry experience that spans early-stage exploration through to feasibility-stage mine development. He specializes in the geological planning, technical data governance, and logistical execution of complex, multi-rig drilling programs in remote and challenging environments.
Prior to Appian, Eric held progressive roles at Osisko Metals, advancing to Senior Project Geologist. During his tenure, he managed several large-scale campaigns—including a 90-person remote winter drill camp at the Pine Point Pb-Zn project—and directed exploration and development drilling at the historic Murdochville Cu porphyry-skarn site (in collaboration with Glencore). He has extensive experience in 3D GIS integration and drill-hole targeting using advanced geoscience modelling software. Most recently, Eric served as Project Manager for NioBay Metals, leading a winter drill program on the James Bay carbonatite project, and executed helicopter-supported lithium pegmatite mapping in Greenland for Brunswick Exploration.
Eric holds a B.Sc. (Honours) in Earth Sciences from the University of New Brunswick. He is a registered Professional Geologist (P.Geo.) in the Northwest Territories.
