Ben is Senior Vice President based in London and part of the Financial Team. He is jointly responsible for overseeing investment evaluation, transaction execution and portfolio management.

Ben joined Appian in 2012 as part of the initial team that successfully concluded the capital raising for Fund I. Since then, Ben has reviewed over 1,000 inbound investment opportunities alongside the team and has worked on the majority of the investments made across both Fund I and Fund II.

Ben holds a dual Masters degree in Metals and Energy Finance from the Royal School of Mines and Imperial College Business School, London, as well as a Masters in Physics from the University of Bristol. His complementary financial and technical experience help leverage the firm across all key aspects of the business.
