The highly experienced technical and financial team, has overseen 60+ mine builds and over US$200bn of mining sector transactions, and works in a close and collaborative manner with management teams to deliver optimal results

Stefan is a member of Appian‘s Financial Team in London. He is responsible for investment evaluation, transaction due diligence, execution and portfolio company oversight.

Prior to joining Appian, Stefan worked as a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group focusing on Private Equity and Metals & Mining. He has supported more than 20 buy-side and vendor due diligences and worked for several mining corporations across Europe and Africa.

Stefan holds a BA in Economics from the University of St.Gallen in Switzerland and spent a semester abroad at Harvard University.
