Hussein is the Personal Assistant to Appian’s CEO, Michael W. Scherb.

Hussein joined Appian from a large family office where he supported the management in wide-ranging activities, such as evaluating investment opportunities, asset acquisitions, implementing the PR strategy and managing staffing matters.

Hussein started his career at Quintessentially where he rose through the ranks across the Business Development side of the business. This included him securing global deals with some of the world’s leading global luxury brands and financial institutions. During his time at Quintessentially, he spent two years in the UAE.

Hussein holds a BA from Newcastle University in Sociology.
