The highly experienced technical and investment team, has overseen 60+ mine builds and over US$200bn of mining sector transactions, and works in a close and collaborative manner with management teams to deliver optimal results

Nicolaus is a member of Appian’s Investment and Investor Relations team.Nicolaus focuses on investment evaluation transaction due diligence, and portfolio oversight, while also working closely with new and existing limited partners globally.

Prior to joining Appian, Nicolaus completed an internship at Torreal, a Spanish family office, where he supported both the public and private equity teams with investment analysis, due diligence, and market research. He also gained experience at LGT Bank AG, where he interned within the Investment Consulting team, preparing bespoke investment concepts for ultra-high-net-worth individuals.

Nicolaus holds a BSc (Hons) in Management from ESCP Business School.
