Abdul is a Fund Controller at Appian, working closely with the Group Chief Financial Officer and Group Financial Controller. He is based in London.

Prior to Appian, Abdul spent almost three years at Apax Partners LLP where he was responsible for preparing consolidated accounts and investor reporting for two investment funds focused on the digital and technology sectors. He also spent two years as a Fund Accountant in the real estate department of Langham Hall UK Services LLP, a global fund administrator.

Abdul started his career in accounting at a leading UK accountancy and business advisory firm, where he qualified as a chartered accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

Abdul holds a BSc in Mathematics with Statistics from the University of Surrey.
